 ACCOMMODATIONS
General:
SKAT accommodates 12 guests in 6 staterooms, all with en suite bathrooms plus 2 children in a stateroom on deck which shares a bathroom, with a total accommodation capacity for 14. She accommodates 20 crew in 7 upper and lower berth cabins all with en suites, as well as 4 more crew in 2 double staterooms both with en suites, plus the double Captain’s cabin. A Lutz 4-person elevator services every internal deck and has doors on both guest and crew sides.
Fly Bridge:
A vertical ladder accesses the forward and aft facing fly bridge which has a steering station forward with flip down seating.
Top Deck:
Forward is an observation platform with external staircase access from the forward sun deck with emergency generator to port and emergency switchboard opposite between the masts. There is also an aft facing observation platform and two skylights to illuminate the gym below.
Gym Deck:
A whirlpool is forward with sun pads around, there is a U-shaped seating and dining area to starboard and two long settees opposite. This area can be covered with two sun awnings. Moving aft and inside there is a day head adjacent the main staircase and a sauna with shower further aft. Opposite, the elevator accesses the guest foyer, while the deck is served from a pantry off the crew staircase. The aft facing gym overlooks the helicopter platform. A 1000kg davit services most areas of the aft ship. The davit has handrails to use as a dive board or inspect the tail rotor on the helicopter. The helipad is capable of landing and carrying an EC135 or Agusta 109 in private use.
Bridge Deck:
There is a wide walkdown walkway to the foredeck with port and starboard crew seating. The bridge is forward with excellent visibility. There are two helm chairs either side of a central chart table and owner’s settees aft. The ships radio room is to port with Captains office opposite to starboard with Captain’s cabin with central queen bed further aft.  Opposite to port is a double guest stateroom or staff cabin with en suite bathroom. Aft of the Captain’s cabin is a crew bathroom and a separate day bathroom for guests. The bridge deck pantry is opposite to port. The main staircase is to starboard and the crew staircase opposite. The elevator accesses the corridor heading aft to the guest office which is to starboard with 6 workstations. The owner’s library is opposite and also has two days beds for relaxation. Further aft is the bridge deck salon with stand-up bar separating the lounging area to starboard and casual seating area opposite to port. Natural light also comes from an overhead sky light.
It is on this deck that one starts to appreciate the incredible natural light afforded by the massive windows which extend full width out over the main deck below and are certainly the “signature” of SKAT. They extend even further aft to the external dining area which is light, bright and airy and a really generous space with a dining table laying fore and aft for 12 people, a lounging settee to port and a U-shaped dining and seating area opposite. Sliding glass windows aft of the fixed windows provide wind breaks and the perimeter of this deck is covered by a water misting system, opening glass hatches and dedicated AC for hot days and there are 6 ceramic heaters in the overhead for cold ones. There is also fixed lounge seating facing aft with low tables.
Main Deck:
Forward is a tender garage for the rescue boat and other water sports toys, launched by two 1500kg davits, one each side. HVAC rooms are aft of the forward garage, both sides. One of the HVAC rooms is also a “panic room” with access from the Owners stateroom and has steel barricades for each door.
The full beam owner’s suite is further aft with bathroom aft to starboard with shower with a steam function, full size bathtub, double vanities and toilet and bidet in separate room. The children’s stateroom is opposite to port and shares the forward port guest stateroom bathroom through a separate entrance. There are four double guest staterooms on the main deck further aft, each with a dressing room and en suite bathroom with shower, double sinks and toilet in a separate room. Forward port stateroom (#2) has a custom bed that folds into the wall so this stateroom can be converted to any configuration. Further aft the main lobby has the guest staircase up and crew staircase outboard to port, up and down. The elevator accesses the main deck lobby. The dining room has split teak topped tables for a more intimate setting which can also be converted to a single long table with 12 chairs. The main salon or cinema is aft with a flexible seating arrangement and a big screen TV on an overhead lift. The aft main deck is large and open with fixed and loose seating, coffee tables and buffet servers either side. One buffet has a push button bar that opens with bottle storage and the port side also opens with sink and fridge. Access to the passarelle is on the centerline. There is a staircase down on starboard side to the swim platform and beach club. There is a lift from the garage on lower deck to the aft deck for motorcycles etc.
Another noteworthy feature of SKAT are her exceptionally wide side decks giving the luxurious feeling of space and easy passage and access.
Crew Deck:
An HVAC room with excellent storage is forward with a double crew cabin aft to starboard with bathroom opposite to port. There are 6 crew cabins further aft, each with an en suite, 3 to port, 3 to starboard. There are 2 more crew cabins further aft, one port, one starboard, both with double lower berths and en suites. The main galley is to port and crew mess to starboard. A crew lounge is aft of the crew mess. Opposite to port is the crew staircase, crew lobby and port side shell door for crew access and for loading supplies. The elevator is in this area. A ships workshop is to port and the engine control room (ECR) is to starboard. The engine room is aft and the tender garages further aft. The tender garage doors open up.  The tender garage stores 2 x 8.5m tenders, there are bowsers for gas and diesel refueling and capacity for 2 or 3 wave runners and other water toys. There is also a rack for 6 bikes. A hydraulic elevator platform moves motorcycles, bikes, supplies and handrails etc. from the garage up to the main deck. Under each tender garage are two 10m long storage rooms, with shelves and flooring. The storage is accessed by watertight floor hatches intentionally situated under the gantry crane hooks.  The beach club is aft to starboard with shower and toilet. The lazarette is opposite with crew toilet and excellent dive storage, washer and dryer, sink and watertight hatch to access long term storage across the entire aft bilge area.  Doors from the beach club and lazarette access the generous swim platform which has a set of wide hydraulic stairs into the water.
Lower Deck:
The bow thruster room is all the way forward and separated by a watertight bulkhead from the rest of the lower deck. Aft of the bulkhead is a lobby with medical and safety stores, followed by port and starboard dry store lockers. A climate-controlled wine cellar is aft and a walk in A/V room to port. A cool store, freezer room and cold store are to starboard and are seriously oversized for a yacht this size, and the generous laundry is opposite to port. The bonded store, crew lobby, elevator and crew staircase are to port and a technical room is opposite. There is a refrigerated garbage store, glass crusher and recycle room here as well.
